ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES
Denver Arts & Venues is dedicated to strengthening the overall health, vitality, growth and development of Denver’s diverse and robust creative economy, including artists and culture bearers, non- and for-profit businesses including those in the music, film, fine art, performance art, design and fashion industries.
Below is our list of current opportunities – continue to check back for updates:

16th Street Performers Network
The 16th Street Performers Network offers an opportunity to activate Denver’s downtown with musicians, artists, entertainers, and performers of all kinds to surprise and delight pedestrians and bring vibrancy to downtown Denver through the arts.

Become a Denver Public Art Docent
Denver Public Art is seeking engaging, energetic and outgoing art enthusiasts to join our docent team. All that is required is an interest in the collection, a willingness to learn and improve skills. Docents should be prepared to make a one-year commitment to the program, leading at least two tours during the year. Tours can be designed to fit a docent’s interests and physical ability. An art background is helpful but not required.

Denver Public Art Commissions
The Denver Public Art program works extensively with regional, national and international artists and artist studios, as well as fabricators, engineers, photographers and consultants.

Downtown Denver Development Authority
The Downtown Denver Development Authority (DDA) supports catalytic investments that help spur economic growth and revitalization in the heart of our city, including large-scale and high-impact creative projects through artistic installations or physical improvements to support major event activations.

Equity in Arts Learning for Colorado Youth
Equity in Arts Learning for Colorado Youth (EAL) seeks to increase access to arts education for historically marginalized youth. Grants of $10,000-$25,000 are available to support projects that bring professional artists and culture bearers into educational settings to lead programming with youth ages 4-21. Projects supported by EAL will exemplify the value of arts education, encouraging ongoing community support. This grant is administered by Think 360 Arts with support from Denver Arts & Venues, Bonfils-Stanton Foundation and Colorado Creative Industries.

Five Points Jazz Grants
Supporting jazz performance and jazz-related activities in Five Points, both to celebrate the history of jazz in the "Harlem of the West" and to foster a new generation of jazz artists in the neighborhood with contemporary, innovative jazz programming.
