AIGA Colorado Chapter
The American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) Colorado Chapter was founded in 1989 by a passionate group of designers who felt the need to connect with the nations oldest and largest design organization, AIGA. Today our community has grown to include over 375 members made up of industry professionals, educators and students. AIGA Colorado offers a diverse series of monthly events and programs to connect people to ideals that will ultimately help them increase their success as a designer. From usability in experience design - inspiration from national speakers - coffee discussions with independents - to reinforcing and supporting design programs, AIGA Colorado strives to fill the needs of all our Members.
Art Directors Club of Denver
The Art Directors Club of Denver (ADCD), founded in 1955, is a local non-profit, multi-disciplinary creative organization focused on strengthening the creative community through education, workshops, informative events and an annual design competition. ADCD's goal is to foster collaboration and inspiration among existing creatives, elevate local talent and resources, and empower the next generation of creative professionals.
ASID Colorado Chapter
ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) is a community of people—designers, industry representatives, educators and students—committed to interior design. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, the Society strives to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives. Its more than 38,000 members engage in a variety of professional programs and activities through a network of 48 chapters throughout the United States and Canada. In Colorado, ASID provides for its 1200+ members through educational programs, project tours, and social events. The highlight of the year is the highly regarded Interior Design Award competition open to all design professionals – members or not.
Colorado Film and Video Association
The Colorado Film and Video Association (CFVA) is a professional association of film, video, digital media and multimedia professionals. CFVA was formed in July 1982 and now has over 600 members.
Colorado Music Business Organization
The Colorado Music Business Organization, Inc. (COMBO) is the Colorado music industry's networking, education and support resource. COMA presents free monthly educational panels, publishes a free email newsletter - just join the email list through COMA's website, and provides a UPC symbol (barcode) for independently-released CD, DVD, or other products free with low-cost membership.
Colorado Theatre Guild
Now almost 250 members strong, the Colorado Theatre Guild (CTG) offers a weekly e-newsletter, a website with the most complete listings of auditions and performances; an annual theatre awards ceremony; combined auditions in tandem with the Denver Center Theatre Company; many workshops and panel discussions on topics of concern to the Colorado theatre community; and "Theatre Night Out"- a unique subscription package which offers an affordable sampling of plays from area theatres. Theatre Night Out was recently named "Best Reason to Go Out" by Westword.
Denver Art Dealers Association (DADA)
This partnership of art dealers and fine art galleries provides a unified voice on issues of mutual concern; to advance standards of excellence, raise awareness and stimulate growth in the visual arts throughout the front-range. Members are selected for their individual contributions to the cultural life of greater Denver and adhere to ethical and lawful business practices. Supported by their expertise and knowledge, they offer works of high aesthetic quality both privately and through professional exhibitions, which are offered at no cost to the viewing public.
Denver Musicians Association
Established in 1897, the Denver Musicians Association is Denver's premier organization serving the public with well-experienced, high quality professional musicians in the Rocky Mountain Region. Its members include musicians, composers, arrangers and singers from a variety of styles and groups ranging from folk singles, duos, and jazz & rock combos to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
Fashion Denver has been created as a way to get local designers in touch with the public while networking, building business relationships, and sharing our passion for creating fashion. With all of the talent that lies here in our mile high city, it's completely unnecessary to have to rely on LA and New York Fashion when we've got style right here in our own backyard!
Fashion Group International (FGI) Denver
The Fashion Group International is a global, non-profit, professional organization with 5000 members in the fashion industry including apparel, accessories, beauty and home. The FGI mission is to be the pre-eminent authority on the business of fashion and design and to help its members become more effective in their careers. To do this, FGI provides insights on major trends in person, online and in print; access to business professionals and a gateway to the influence fashion plays in the marketplace.
