Blue Trees Sacred Art: A Free Open Meditation

Public Art

5/1/2017 11:00 AM

The Blue Trees is an ongoing environmental art installation by artist, Konstantin Dimopoulos. He transforms living trees into a surreal environment so that we stop and notice them. These trees speak for the swathes of Old Forests and Rain Forests that are removed every year around the globe. The colorant is water-based and biologically-safe.

Please join us for an open meditation series with Life Coach and Thought Leader Kimberly Allyse  Johnson this May.  The public is encouraged to take a break from the chaotic urban environment and experience a personal meditative moment.  Each participant will be given sound isolating headphones with the option for a guided mediation or peaceful ambient music.  This program is designed to encourage relaxation, personal reflection and highlight the benefits of meditation set among Konstantin Dimopoulos’ beautiful Blue Trees environmental art installation.

Join us for five minutes or the full three hours, and no meditation experience necessary!

Dates: Every Monday, May 1-22
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: In front of the Colorado Convention Center at 14th and Stout Street.
Free, all-ages, and open to the public!
