In 2016, the Americans for the Arts Public Art Network (PAN) Advisory Council launched a series of best practices for the commissioning of public art projects to provide a nationally accepted set of standards and guidelines for the development and implementation of public art projects. Three years later, The PAN Council is currently updating and reviewing the best practices and are looking for feedback from the field.
