Description: The frieze panels depict a procession of pioneer figures, covered wagons, horses, and oxen, meant to represent the trek to the American West. The pioneer figures are represented in tunics, which gives a medieval quality to the scenes. Indians wearing loin cloths and feathered headdresses are also depicted. The panels are inset into a long brick and concrete wall which is set on a concrete base. The wall has an adobe-like appearance.
