Event Details
It's time to officially break in South Broadway's new two-way protected bikeway! We'll meet at Governors Park (at the corner of 7th Avenue & Logan Street), then ride down Broadway together, from 7th to Illegal Pete's, with plenty of opportunities to stop along the route and enjoy the eclectic mix of business and culture that defines this iconic Denver strip—now safer and more accessible to bike and roll, thanks to the Denver Moves: Broadway project.
More information and registration.
As part of this improvement project, eight new artworks were added to the Denver Public Art collection. Bikers can check out these new whimsical artworks by Jamie Pawlus. The site-specific installations, titled “Happiness,” “I See Neon Lights,” “Mood,” “Signs of Life,” “Somebody/Nobody,” “The Good Point,” “Understanding” and “Understood,” lead viewers along the corridor and inspire moments of contemplation and humor, and underscore the connection between passersby and the spaces they are inhabiting in the moment.
