Sober Sessions

Join us at the Mercury Cafe on Aug. 27 for a free concert series committed to creating a judgment-free and sober-supportive environment for artists and fans. Catch the live panel discussion with the artists as they discuss mental health and sobriety, followed by their live performances.

Sober Sessions is a series of musical experiences in order to build a judgment-free, sober community for folks who find difficulties participating in an industry that's dominated by and heavily rooted in alcohol and substance misuse. The event series provides a diverse swath of musicians and artists to perform for sober community members and, before free performances, start the conversation with a panel discussion about the important role music plays in one's recovery, mental health and physical health alike. Mocktails will be available at all events as well.

Substance misuse knows no socioeconomic status nor does it concern itself with gender identification, race, or beyond. Everyone is affected, which makes these events all-inclusive.
