The double bill of Tart Sweet and Kimandala will highlight the pianist/composer in each group, each is bringing a newly recorded album to this night of original music at Dazzle. "Razors Edge" from Emily Takahashi features her wondrous compositions in her third jazz quintet release and Kimandala's "Little Guy" focuses on new and interesting piano trio music from Amanda Williams.

Both of these fine pianist/composers have flawless technique and unique improvisational styles. Both bands have developed a high level of communication and a true band sound that is a product of extensive rehearsal time and the trust that comes with years of creative exploration and close friendship.

This promises to be an exciting evening for people discovering these two groups and a new chapter for our loyal fans. Don’t miss it!
