In 2023, The Lowry Foundation is celebrating 25 years of serving the community as the non-profit arm of the Lowry Air Force Base redevelopment. We are marking this milestone by creating a special community art project -The Lowry Art + Architecture Loop. Combined with Lowry’s historic architecture, the loop will encourage and promote well-being and active mobility for residents and visitors, bringing people together.
Professional artists worked with the community to create temporary and interactive art experiences in four City and County of Denver parks. The artwork themes tie to the community’s heritage, environmental conservation, social engagement, and community building through play. The parks include Bayaud Park, Crescent Park, Great Lawn Park, and the Dog Park Open Space.
The Lowry Art + Architecture Loop is supported by Denver Arts & Venues through the P.S. You Are Here program.
