TITWRENCH Collective announces its final installment of their all ages music festival in Denver, Colorado. The outdoor event will be free and open to the public on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 from 400-1000pm. The first 100 people who register (RSVP) for the event receive a special free sticker.
The mini-festival will be celebrating 13 years of Titwrench Collective history, highlighting experimental and underrepresented musicians, artists, and performers, highlighting a wide variety of genres and creative mediums. Maiz food truck will be selling homemade Mexican cuisine, and a market featuring Witch Collective, a group of local artisans and herbalists.
TITWRENCH features both emerging and advanced artists and performers, pushing boundaries of genre and form. The festival has inspired the genesis of experimental music festivals in both Albuquerque and Shiprock, New Mexico, as well as Tempe, Arizona.
Featured artists at TITWRENCH this year include:
Nacha Mendez (Santa Fe,NM) - The award-winning guitarist, singer/songwriter will play a set of her self-described “Latin World Music”, melding Ranchera canción, classical, flamenco, and many other styles. Her trio features oud, guitars, cajon and congas.
The Milk Blossoms (Denver, CO) - Heartfelt experimental pop trio
Machete Mouth (Denver, CO) - Afro-futurist blues
My Name is Harriett (Colorado Springs, CO) - Electroacoustic violin/vocals
Sol Vida Worldwide (Denver, CO) - Movement activation workshop
In addition to live music, Titwrench will be launching several virtual workshops leading up to the festival, details forthcoming.
This year’s festivities and programs are generously funded by local and national partners, including Denver Music Advancement Fund grant, as well as RESIST Foundation, Brian Quinette, and the community-at-large.
