World Ballet Series: Swan Lake performed with a LIVE orchestra

Swan Lake, the ballet of all ballets, will be performed one night only as a part of the World Ballet Series with a live score played by the Boulder Symphony. See the iconic Dance of the Little Swans, count the 32 fouettés performed by the Odile and immerse yourself in magical Tchaikovsky's music.

The production will feature richly detailed, hand-painted sets as well as over 150 radiant costumes that bring fresh representation to this timeless classic. World Ballet Company’s signature program, World Ballet Series presents the most beloved and iconic ballets of our time in cities across the country. Driven by the belief that ballet is for everyone, performances appeal to newcomers and seasoned ballet goers alike. The company attracts many international artists and is composed of renowned professional dancers representing over ten countries.

To date, World Ballet Series has travelled to more than 280 cities reaching an audience of more than 250,000, many of whom are first time attendees to a ballet.

Founded in 2009 by conductor Devin Patrick Hughes and business leader Anthony Santelly, Boulder Symphony is a community-focused orchestra driven to enhance the music scene in Colorado and beyond. Now, in its 10th anniversary season, the Symphony is actively performing symphonic music’s most monumental repertoire with a mission to connect with and profoundly affect the human spirit.
