More Than $1.5M Distributed to 178 Projects

Launched in 2018 as part of the Denver Music Strategy, the Denver Music Advancement Fund supports community initiatives that harness the power of music to strengthen economic vibrancy, build a more equitable and connected city, and create positive social change. Programs subsidized by DMAF use music as a tool to impact mental health and wellness, education, youth engagement, social justice, literature, film, dance, theater, visual arts, technology, climate action, global connectivity and other social innovations.

Take Note Colorado has been a partner of the Denver Music Advancement Fund since 2020. It is a statewide initiative offering equitable access to musical instruments and instruction to every K‑12 student in Colorado. They support Denver programs that are inclusive, student-centered, culturally responsive and empower all students to participate in music.
