DENVER – Denver Arts & Venues (DAV) is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for programs supported by its Arts & Culture Fund, with a total of $650,000 in funds available.

The DAV Arts & Culture Fund provides up to $15,000 in funding support for each new or existing program inspired by one or more of the seven vision elements outlined in Denver’s Cultural Plan. Proposals will be accepted now through Oct. 28, 2024 via Submittable.

“We are excited to open up an additional round of funding for projects supported by the DAV Arts & Culture Fund,” said Brooke Dilling, director of grants and cultural programs for DAV. “DAV is wholly committed to investing in Denver’s vibrant arts & culture scene, and we can’t wait to see even more projects come to fruition with the help of this fund.”

Eligible programs can be independent or collaborative, and should reflect the applicant’s unique interpretation of the cultural plan. Programs must take place in the City and County of Denver between December 2024 through December 2025. All projects should be centered in the values of equity, diversity and inclusion, and applicants should consider how their programs and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Additionally, proposed projects should benefit the community through artistic, cultural and creative programming.

DAV is hosting a virtual pre-application meeting on Oct. 10 from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. for interested applicants. The meeting will cover the program’s goals and the application process for this fund. Interested applicants are asked to register via Eventbrite.
