Morrison, Colo. – Despite forecasted high temperatures, fall is indeed in the air, which means winter is right around the corner! Getting in shape for ski and snowboard season is taking center stage at Red Rocks Amphitheatre as the SnowShape Winter Fitness Series celebrates its 6th season.

 

The four-week SnowShape series features a circuit-based fitness program on the stairs at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, led by professional trainers from Fitness in the City. The program is suitable for participants of all fitness levels who want to train with other snow sports enthusiasts.

 

Each week targets four core fitness principles essential for skiers and snowboarders: Stability, Endurance, Strength and Power. Taken individually or together, there isn’t a more complete way, or a more beautiful setting, to get into peak performance mode to dominate the slopes and trails this winter sports season.
