OUR VENUES
Chances are you’ve had some good times at Denver’s world-famous entertainment venues. DAV manages several of the area’s most renowned facilities including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver Performing Arts Complex, Colorado Convention Center, Denver Coliseum and McNichols Civic Center Building. And new to the portfolio, DAV is redeveloping the former theatre on the Loretto Heights campus.
Our agency operates a social-cultural enterprise model that reinvests proceeds from events at these iconic venues into venue operation and maintenance, arts programs, community grants and free cultural amenities for Denver’s residents.
We hope every guest walks away knowing their visit was meaningful — that they are part of a mission to protect our iconic venues and to enrich Denver’s cultural and artistic landscape for all.
RED ROCKS PARK & AMPHITHEATRE
Red Rocks is one of the most popular concert venues in the world, drawing more than 1.3 million fans annually. It is recognized for its star-studded concert roster, natural acoustics and ambiance. Red Rocks offers a variety of recreation options on its awe-inspiring trails, including guided tours, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing.
DENVER PERFORMING ARTS COMPLEX
The Denver Performing Arts Complex is a 12-acre campus of theatres and public spaces in the heart of downtown, drawing over 1 million patrons annually. It's home to four esteemed performing arts institutions – Colorado Ballet, Colorado Symphony, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and Opera Colorado – and plays a welcoming host to many national acts and local groups, festivals, conferences, public events and more.
COLORADO CONVENTION CENTER
Built in 1990, the Colorado Convention Center is one of the most sustainable venues in the US and houses the 5,000 seat Bellco Theatre. The CCC is a state-of-the-art LEED certified facility with a flexible theatre, ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibit space and multiple lobbies for a variety of special events that attract more than 1 million visitors annually.
MCNICHOLS CIVIC CENTER BUILDING
The McNichols Civic Center Building is a contemporary hub for arts, culture and events with a unique activation model that addresses the City’s space needs. 50% of the venue’s bookings are rent-free for artists and cultural organizations that wish to feature cultural programming for the public. This stunning Greek Revival building hosts public and private events, weddings, performances and more.
DENVER COLISEUM
Dating back to 1952, the Denver Coliseum is home to the National Western Stock Show, Denver March Powwow and CHSAA State Championships, and it hosts a multitude of other events including concerts, ice skating events, truck and auto shows, cheerleading competitions, carnivals and more.
LORETTO HEIGHTS
DAV plans to create a new cultural hub for southwest Denver as part of the Loretto Heights Area Plan to redevelop the 72-acre historic campus. Our focus is on a parcel of the new mixed-use development that includes the historic theatre and former library. This project will broaden access to the arts across Denver, attract and welcome diverse audiences and support small arts organizations needing performance and rehearsal space.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge that the land which the Denver Public Art Collection, our venues and programs occupy – land where we stand, live, work and learn – is the traditional territory of the Ute, Cheyenne, and Arapaho Peoples. We also recognize the 48 contemporary tribal nations that are historically tied to the lands that make up the state of Colorado. Our nation was founded upon and continues to enact exclusions and erasures of Indigenous Peoples. May this acknowledgement demonstrate a commitment to dismantling ongoing legacies of oppression and inequities, as we intentionally honor and celebrate the Indigenous communities in our city and express our gratitude for their ongoing and significant contributions.
Let’s not forget that this land was theirs long before we made it ours.
